McKinley and Care Access Join Forces to Promote Health Care Benefits for Part-time Staffers

(Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) -- McKinley Insurance Services, Inc., a benefits consulting firm, and Care Access Health Plan, a provider of affordable health care coverage for companies and individuals, have joined forces to provide its health benefits coverage to part time employees.

The new program allows staff members, who would normally not be able to access health coverage benefits, the chance to purchase affordable plans for themselves and their dependents. The packages, which start as low as $69 a month per person, include Care Access' large network of primary care physicians, specialists, urgent care centers, diagnostic facilities, prescription drug and vision and hearing benefits, all with no deductibles in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

"Going without health coverage benefits should not be an option for today's full or part-time workers," said Jerry Sternstein, president of Care Access. "Since 2003 we have pioneered making comprehensive preventive health care coverage truly affordable and accessible to everyone."

The Care Access/McKinley team recently signed a contract with Broward College to provide health care coverage to their part-time employees.. Care Access currently offers similar programs to such organizations as Miami-Dade College, ArtServe, Pediatric Associates, New World Symphony, Pine Crest School and Florida International University.
