Care Access provides benefits for comprehensive preventive and routine care health care coverage, outside the hospital at special rates for FIU temporary employees and contracted workers and their dependents. While the Care Access Health Plan coverage covers benefits outside the hospital, the coverage includes all Primary and Specialty Physician care, Urgent Care, prescription medication, outpatient ambulatory surgery, a behavioral health benefit, hearing and vision services, all forms of diagnostic treatment, and other preventive health care services. Care Access has a large network of credentialed providers and physicians in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
